My radiation treatments started this past Wednesday. Wednesday’s appointment was long, but then all of the rest will only be fifteen minutes or so. The treatment is very easy and painless. The staff in the radiation oncology department is amazing, and I know I’m in great hands.

I arranged my daily appointments so that I can leave work and go straight over, have the treatment and then make my way home. Even though I have to do this for six weeks, I think it should be very manageable.

Dinah and Djuna are adjusting to Kindergarten, and Dwayne is busily cartooning his way through this crazy election season. I just went to Back to School night at the girls’ school and was very impressed with the principal and teachers.

All is well.
